I hate election season. And why shouldn’t I? Every ad is campaign focused and my shows don’t air because of the debates and everyone and their mother (literally) is on Facebook and Twitter waxing poetic and feigning knowledge. It’s an annoying time.

In a New York minute...

Whether we lost someone that day or we knew someone who knew someone who lost someone, we were all affected by the unfortunate events that forever...

Things I can no longer do because I’m too reliant on technology:
1. Remember phone numbers. I used to be able to memorize any number after dialing it once or twice - now I can’t remember the numbers of my own family members!
2. Keep up with appointments and meetings. Unless I get 15 notifications to my iPhone, Outlook or Google Calendar I will forget that I am scheduled for something....

The last few days included a sprinkling of postcards, emails, offers and wishes from my dentists, Sephora, my usual nail/spa places, coworkers, friends and family - all reminding me about the impending death of my 20’s. Today I broke a rule - an outdated completely nonsensical rule that has no place in the world today. It’s March. This means lots of things to lots of people - milestone birthdays, anniversaries, basketball, green beer or just looking forward to spring!
